Tulipop secures a $1.8M investment from Eyrir Vöxtur
Icelandic fantasy brand Tulipop has raised $1.8 million from growth fund Eyrir Vöxtur to expand its international reach with the animated series Tulipop Tales, aiming to build a global entertainment franchise based on its popular characters.

Tulipop Tales TV Series (2022)
Tulipop Tales, 52 x 7’ 2D animated series is a comedic, modern day fairytale, is produced by Tulipop Studios.
The production team comprises a strong line-up of Icelandic talent in partnership with two strong animation studios, The Animation Band in Italy and Amuse Animation in Spain.
Tulipop is now also production a series of 3 x 30 minute TV Specials, ‘Tulipop Seasons’, to be delivered in December 2025, commissioned by RUV in Iceland, NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden, DR in Denmark, and YLE in Finland.
Tulipop Seasons (2025)
The Tulipop Seasons series is a series of 30 minute high-quality 2D animated films intended for release in both cinemas and on TV.Each film has a seasonal theme:
Winter/Holidays,Fall/Halloween, Spring/Summer-and features a funmusical adventure for the whole family to enjoy.The films are commissioned by all the Nordic publicbroadcasters and leading Icelandic cinema chain, Sambíó,and our goal is to bring families together at fun cinemaexperiences as well as in front of the screen at home.
